What Happens at Your Aesthetic Consultation2

What Happens at Your Aesthetic Consultation?
A conversation first. Treatment second.
If you’ve never had aesthetic treatment before, booking a consultation can feel like a bigger step than it actually is.
You may be wondering what you’ll be asked, whether you’ll be pressured to have treatment or whether you’ll need to know exactly what you want before you arrive.
You don’t.
Your consultation is simply an opportunity to talk, ask questions and understand what may — or may not — be appropriate for you.
At Aesthetic Boutique, there is never an obligation to proceed with treatment.
⸻
1 — Tell Us What You’d Like to Improve
Your consultation starts with a conversation.
You might have a specific concern, such as lines, loss of definition, tired-looking skin or changes around your lips.
Or you might simply feel that you don’t look quite as fresh as you used to, without knowing exactly why.
That’s completely fine.
We’ll discuss what you’re noticing, what you’d like to achieve and, importantly, what you don’t want.
For some clients, that might be:
“I want to look fresher, but I don’t want to look different.”
Understanding that is just as important as knowing what you would like to change.
⸻
2 — Your Medical & Treatment History
Before any injectable treatment is considered, your suitability needs to be assessed.
We’ll discuss relevant aspects of your medical history, previous aesthetic treatments, medications and any other factors that may affect whether a particular treatment is appropriate.
This isn’t about ticking boxes.
It’s about making sure that any treatment recommended is suitable for you and that you understand the relevant considerations.
⸻
3 — A Personalised Assessment
Oksana will assess the area you’re concerned about and consider your individual anatomy, facial structure and skin quality.
For facial treatments, this means looking at your features as a whole, rather than simply focusing on the one area you have noticed.
This can be particularly important when considering treatments such as dermal filler and facial harmonisation.
Sometimes improving one area can affect the balance of another.
A considered assessment helps ensure that treatment recommendations are proportionate and appropriate.
⸻
4 — We Discuss Your Options
You will then be talked through the options that may be appropriate for you.
Depending on your concerns, this could include:
* Anti-wrinkle treatment
* Dermal fillers
* Lip filler
* Facial harmonisation
* Skin boosters
* Profhilo®️
* Polynucleotides
* Specialist scar treatments
* Other appropriate treatments
But you won’t automatically be recommended a treatment simply because you have asked about it.
There may be several options.
There may be a better alternative.
Or treatment may not be recommended at all.
⸻
5 — We Talk About Realistic Results
We believe you should understand what a treatment can realistically achieve before deciding whether to have it.
We’ll discuss:
* What improvement you can reasonably expect
* How quickly results develop
* How long results may last
* Potential downtime
* Possible side effects
* Relevant risks
* Whether more than one treatment may be appropriate
Aesthetic treatment should enhance your expectations — not create unrealistic ones.
⸻
6 — You Get the Opportunity to Ask Questions
Your consultation is your time to ask questions.
There is no such thing as a silly question when you’re considering an injectable treatment.
You may want to know:
Will it hurt?
Will people notice?
How long will the results last?
What happens if I don’t like the result?
Will I need more treatment later?
Are there alternatives?
Ask everything you need to feel comfortable making an informed decision.
⸻
7 — We Discuss the Cost
You’ll be given clear information about the cost of any treatment being considered.
There shouldn’t be any surprises.
If a treatment plan involves more than one area or more than one appointment, this will be discussed with you before you decide to proceed.
You are never expected to commit to treatment simply because you’ve had a consultation.
⸻
8 — You Decide
This is perhaps the most important part.
The decision is yours.
You can decide to proceed.
You can take some time to think about it.
You can ask more questions.
Or you can decide that treatment isn’t for you.
There is never an obligation to proceed.
⸻
Your £30 Consultation
Consultations at Aesthetic Boutique are £30.
The full £30 is redeemable against your first treatment.
This means the consultation isn’t an additional cost if you decide to go ahead with treatment.
Your consultation gives you the opportunity to understand your options before making a decision.
⸻
Why We Start With a Consultation
Aesthetic treatment shouldn’t be selected from a menu without considering the person receiving it.
Your anatomy, skin, medical history, previous treatments and expectations are all individual.
Two people can have the same concern but require completely different approaches.
That’s why we believe the right place to start is a conversation and assessment — not an injection.
⸻
A Consultation Doesn’t Mean You Have to Have Treatment
If you’ve been considering treatment but haven’t felt ready to book because you’re worried you’ll be pressured into having something done, we want you to know:
You can simply come and talk.
You don’t have to arrive knowing what you want.
You don’t have to choose a treatment beforehand.
And you don’t have to proceed.
Our role is to help you understand your options so that you can make an informed decision that’s right for you.
